NYT on Guantanamo and Latif

The New York Times published an editorial Saturday urging the United States Supreme Court to review the case of Adnan Farhan Abd Al Latif.  The NYT writes that Latif’s case is an opportunity “to reaffirm the right of prisoners in Guantánamo to seek justice in federal court and to explain firmly and clearly what that entails.”

Also noted in the article is the fact that the opinion issued by the D.C. Circuit in Latif’s case, which had initially been classified, is now public and can be seen here.
